Sam began his film and television career in 1979 and hasn't looked back. He is best known as Flash Gordon! He has also starred in movies and shows such as 10 (the movie), Ted, The A-Team, The Highwayman, Renegade and Walker, Texas Ranger.
Welcome Aaron Schwartz! Aaron played Dave Karp in The Mighty Ducks! He also had a role in the movie Heavyweights as a child. Recently, he appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy 2. He worked along side of Kurt Russell to make the character Ego come alive. He was used in the scenes where Ego appeared as a young man. Through cinema magic, the studio was able to recreate how Kurt Russell looked in the 1980s. Please welcome Aaron to our growing list of guests coming to Chapel Con this summer!
Our next guest is actor/director RYAN HURST. Hurst is probably best known for the wildly popular and critically acclaimed character, Opie Winston, on the FX smash hit, Sons of Anarchy. Additional television roles include the starring role, "Chick Hogan" in A&E's "Bates Motel," series regular, "L'il Foster" on WGN's highest rating series, "Outsiders," a recurring series regular on NBC's Emmy® award-winning "Medium," series regular roles on TNT's "King & Maxwell" and the action-drama "Wanted," and a starring role in Steven Spielberg's mini-series "Taken" for SyFy.
Hurst's film credits include his breakout performance opposite Denzel Washington in Disney's highly successful "Remember the Titans," for which he also directed the film's second unit footage. Additional high-profile feature film roles include Steven Spielberg's "Saving Private Ryan," the Coen brothers' "The Ladykillers" with Tom Hanks, "We Were Soldiers" with Mel Gibson, "Patch Adams" with Robin Williams, "Rules of Engagement" with Samuel L. Jackson and Disney's animated feature "Rango" with Johnny Depp.
Hurst is an accomplished writer, director, producer, editor, veteran free-fly skydiver, motorcycle enthusiast, and a devoted student and teacher of Kundalini yoga.

Josh Mikel is a new face fro AMC's hit drama The Walking Dead, but he fits into the world so well, it feels like his character Jared has always been there to harass the good guys. When it comes to pushing buttons, Jared is the best at provoking those beholden to Negan and his army of Saviors.
Josh is an actor, playwright, director and musician from Conyers, GA. A graduate of Florida State University's Theatre and Creative Writing programs, he honed his craft on the stage of FSU's School of Theatre and developed a love for film and TV working on both sides of the camera with the acclaimed Florida State Film School. A published playwright, Josh is known for his theatre for young audiences works, "The Monster Hunters" and "Good Good Trouble on Bad Bad Island".
His film and TV credits include Raggedy Man in Stephen King's Cell, John Michael Paymon in the indie horror Last Shift, Vance in the indie thriller Intruders, as well as credits in The Vampire Diairies, We're the Millers, Dirty Grandpa, and the role of Derek in the forthcoming Marvel film Ant Man and the Wasp.
As a director, he has created and animated music videos for the acts Against Me!, Waxahatchee, Jake Bugg, Neon Trees and American Authors. Josh is the long time drummer for the indie rock band Look Mexico. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia where he is represented by J. Pervis Talent and managed by Silver Lining Entertainment.
Scruffy yet terrifying, Jayson Smith plays Gavin on AMC's smash hit The Walking Dead. Gavin is a leader within the Saviors, tasked with weekly tribute collection from The Kingdom. Of all the Saviors we've met, Gavin is by far the most level-headed, which makes him supremely dangerous-keep an eye out for that one. Smith is also known for his turn as vicious death row inmate Wendall Jelks on The Sundance Channel's drama Rectify. During season six on The CW's The Vampire Diaries, Smith played Dean-the conman/mechanic didn't last long when vampires arrived in Savannah, Georgia.
Smith has been a busy actor, not only teaching the craft in Atlanta, Georgia, but also appearing in countless television shows. Catch Smith in action on One Mississippi, NCIS: New Orleans, Sleepy Hollow, Coma an A&E mini-series, Final Witness, House of Payne, and Drop Dead Diva. His film work includes The Book of Love, Birth of a Nation, Christine (2016), I Saw the Light, Mississippi Grind, 99 Homes, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, 42, Footloose (2011), The Joneses, and People v. Leo Frank, plus more. Smith will appear in the upcoming drama Thank You for Your Service, directed by Jason Hall (writer-American Sniper). American Made, featuring Smith and starring Tom Cruise, which hit theaters last September.
RJ Mitte is an actor, producer and model. He is best known as Walter "Flynn" White Jr for five riveting seasons of AMC's Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning show "Breaking Bad". He has also worked on Switched At Birth, Robot Chicken, Dixieland, House of Last Things, Hannah Montana, and many others. At the young age of three, Louisiana native Mitte was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Throughout the years, Mitte has been an inspiration to his peers around the world by championing over his Cerebral Palsy in hopes of removing the stigma associated with disabilities. In order to bring awareness to his own issues with bullying and prejudice, Mitte has engaged in public speaking and serves as the official Ambassador for United Cerebral Palsy and Shriners Hospitals for Children. We are elated to have him on board. Please show him how much we appreciate him coming back to ChapelCon!
Kiowa Gordon is known for playing Embry Call in the Twilight Saga! Kiowa won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2013 American Indian Movie Awards for his work in The Lesser Blessed. He was also on the Red Road opposite Jason Momoa (Aquaman on Justice League). We are excited to see where his career takes him. Please make him feel welcome!
Charles Wright has had a long, incredible career with the WWE. He was one of the Attitude Era's biggest stars. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016. He is also known for portraying the characters Papa Shango and Kama Mustafa with the Nation of Domination. Please welcome the Godfather to Chapel Con!!!
